Comparison of interpolation methods in time and frequency domain for the estimation of harmonics and interharmonics according to IEC standard
Abstract
The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is the most commonly used technique for analyzing power system signals. However, when the signal is not synchronized or when interharmonics are present, spectral leakage can occur. To address this issue, several techniques have been proposed in the literature. This paper presents a comparison of results for calculating harmonics and interharmonics groups and subgroups according to IEC 61000-4-7, using two of these techniques: one based on frequency-domain interpolation and the other based on time-domain interpolation.
