Sections through the four experiments Drawn from published geometry
The four pins in the CERN page hero are sections through the machines themselves: transverse cuts of ATLAS, CMS and ALICE at their published radii, and LHCb from the side, since it is a forward spectrometer and not a barrel. Drawn by tools/build-experiment-figures.js from the collaborations' published geometry. The drawings are ours, the numbers are theirs.
